From Heritage Trees, Inc., this vigorous oak resulted from a cross of Q. robur fastigiata (upright English oak) and Q. bicolor (Swamp white oak) and has a distinctive upright oval habit. Beautiful all season long, the foliage has an attractive silvery lower surface. It is tolerant of a wide range of soils types, wet and dry.
