Good Vibrations Gold Juniper (Juniperus horizontalis ‘Hegedus’) is an easy-care evergreen shrub. It’s ever-green, gold and red, that is. Each year as it grows, the tiny leaves have a gold tint and turn to orange-purple in fall. Like most junipers, Good Vibrations is one of the most versatile shrubs for a landscape. It survives winters down to zone 3 but can tolerate the heat of zone 9. It’s also drought tolerant, so once established, this gold juniper can get by with average water and survive dry periods.
